Examining the incised imagery on the right arm, we find, on the back of the right hand, a cartouche containing the frontal view of a noseless face (figure 6a). Three dots are positioned above the almond-shaped eyes of this face and the outlined mouth contains what, at first sight, seems to be a single descending fang. Once again the three dots motif leads me to associate this image with a watery liquid (in this case blood).
