The 'skull' version of the Palenque Emblem Glyph is an allograph of the 'bone' version. (Allographs are different signs with the same meaning.) It reads K'UH(UL)-AJAW-B'AAK-la / k'uhul b'aakal ajaw / "divine Palenque lord".
