This must have been a memorable occasion indeed for the future K'inich Ahkal Mo' Nahb' III, as its exact twenty- and forty-year anniversaries are repeated on the stucco panel and elsewhere in Temple XIX. In fact, the dedication date of Temple XIX itself occurred on the precise forty year anniversary (calculated in lunar months rather than solar years, as demonstrated by Christopher Powell of the Palenque Project).
