This fragment of limestone sculpture, found just outside the west wall of Temple XIX, belongs to another fragmented tablet found earlier inside the building. The glyphs identify the subject as the ruler K'inich Ahkal Mo' Nahb III, with the title "Holy Palenque Lord". (Photo: Alfonso Morales)
