Here is one last example of an Ehecacozcatl from the Huaxtec area. Given the wide area distribution of this kind of piece, it would seem that the cult of the wind god (Ehecatl in Nahuatl) took on a particularly strong hold throughout Mesoamerica in the Post-Classic period.
